Coms plc appoints voice and messaging entrepreneur Richard Bennett to the board
Coms plc (Coms or the Company), the broadband internet phone service, today announced the appointment of Richard Bennett as Corporate Development Director. Richard's primary responsibility will be to manage admission of the company to the London AIM stock market and deliver complementary mergers and acquisitions (M&A) that will accelerate the growth of the Company in terms of customers, revenues and gross profit.
Richard started his career with General Electric and has 17 years management, marketing, product development, sales and corporate development experience in the technology sector, which he now applies to position innovative technology and clean-tech companies for funding and rapid growth.
Amongst his numerous successes, Richard was a co-founder of the Internet unified messaging service JFAX (www.j2.com) which achieved more than 3 million global telephony customers and an $850M IPO (NASDAQ:JCOM). Mr. Bennett also served as director of the domain name, online brand protection and web hosting company, Virtual Internet plc.
